The shuttle we have been running on Saturdays has been grand. We have had a wonderful time getting to be more in the lives of some of the kids in Greeley and we have felt much appreciation from the parents. This has been an experiment with results above and beyond expectations.
We hoped for this to be an expression of worship for us. As you run through the sustainable ministry model of Build RelationshipsàInteract with GodàEncourage a Response, we hope for the response to be one that builds more relationships to then restart the cycle. Well, our response to how we have engaged in scripture with God has been to show the snowboard culture in Greeley love. This is worship for us as we look at our actions towards people as though those people are God’s representation of Himself in tangible form making our love actions toward people ultimately love actions toward God. As our efforts to express to God our love have played out on the shuttle, they have lead to the opportunity to speak truth from scripture into situations almost every week. In addition, we now have some of the youth from the shuttle looking for ways to respond to the truth we have had the chance to share and they are building their own relationships via their response.
